Our family did our usual Labor Day routine today in Sacramento. We went to the Pancake Circus Restaurant and had a great breakfast and then went to Fremont Park on 16th and Q streets for the 20th annual Chalk-it-up chalk art festival. Artists of all ages are assigned a square section of the sidewalk that circles the park and spend the Labor day weekend drawing with chalk. It is a very interesting and colorful event. They also have live bands scheduled for all three day. We have been going to this since 1993.
Here are a few pictures.
